I finally found a steelstring luthier in my area, his name is Robert Anderson, does anyone know/{of} him?
I went to his website and his guitars are just marvellous, I am thrilled to hear there is a talented SS maker right near me.
He builds guitars for Schoenberg, I hope I can get to know this guy - he looks like a truly talented guy, and his building philosophy/techniques is completely in keeping with what I would like to accomplish as well!
I just thought I would see if anyone knew him.
I saw a couple of Howard Kleppers guitars on Schoenberg website as well - what a Master! His guitars never fail to thrill me!
Cheers

I don't know Robert personally, but I know very knowledgable people who have raved about his guitars. Eric Schoenberg has very high standards, so you can be assured that Robert's guitars are top notch.

Kleppers work is awesome! I just talked to him. He's in Grease, I guess he know's how to sing and dance too! What a talented guy!

Or maybe he said ... Greece.

Well thats it huh? Hmmm, obviously Robert a modest guy, I went to his site - http://robertandersonguitars.com/
- his guitars are beautiful, and I must say that the soundclip of one of his beauties really rings{Somewhere over the rainbow}.
I sent him an email explaining to him that I was nearby, and just starting out, and I asked him if I could hit him up for advice and what have you.
He emailed back saying that would be fine. Hopefully I will meet him, and get to see his shop one day.
Cheers

Charlie,

Tell him about our modest group here, too--hide glue and French polish...he'll fit right in!

I had a nice chat with Robert at Healdsburg last year (about getting that
clean junction between bridge and top). I didn't play one of his guitars, but
they look great. He is a gentleman in every way.
